i can't stop listening to the misfits so i made a shitty danzig pumpkin on the other side of carlos and sarah's really well done jackolantern. today i went to topshop and saw three of my favorite people. seth powers, dana reynolds, and lauren conrad. i was also sexually assaulted by a 7 year old. i love rainy days.

so first i see ram jam on monday night and then last night who is sitting at the table next to us but bill murray! in a leather vest! those are the only exciting things to happen to me this week. what an otherwise crap week. i can't wait to get out of this hell hole and go upstate this weekend! an autumn road trip is the only thing that might cure my sour disposition.

in other news i took some ritalin for the first time today at work. now it's 5:30 am the following day and i still can't sleep. did fun things this weekend like saw the gothic exhibit at the fit museum which was AMAZING. also saw Intelligence play saturday night at glasslands, by far my new favorite band.

andrew w.k. played at santo's tonight. i was going to go but wound up fulfilled with a bing bang reunion dinner at la esquina followed by drinks at motor city. turns out jocelyn's friend was opening for a.w.k. but that still wasn't enough to coerce either of us into debauchery.

my ceiling collapsed

came home last night to find the plaster from my ceiling collapsed in large chunks and fell all over my bed.
it's september and even though the weather isn't reflecting this i wish i was going to school. why is it that kids these days are way cooler at younger ages? media infiltration? internet? i didn't write 'back to cool' on this by the way, i stole it off of stylesight for the record.

i've had enough

back at my cubicle job for the next month. i actually really like it. i guess that shouldn't really surprise me seeing as how i gravitate towards corners and a cubicle has as many as i could ask for in a work environment. i think if i stayed there i would develop carpel tunnel syndrome though. i'd say my eyes would get worse too but i'm not sure that's even possible at this point.

in other news, i'm REALLY excited for fall to come, my all time favorite. i want to wear a coat and crunch around in leaves and drive through the windy roads in connecticut.
